# Nirvana Upgrade

{% hint style="success" %}
ORC-20 Nirvana Upgrade has been **successful**! However, we kindly ask for your patience as the minting service providers, index providers, and other services associated with ORC-20 gradually update to the new version.
{% endhint %}

## Overview

The Nirvana Upgrade represents a significant milestone for ORC-20 Protocol. During the past 6 months, Ordinal Theory has grown dramatically, same as BRC-20. We would update and migrate the old version of ORC-20 Protocols, to consolidate the key features which were created in April, 2023.

#### Notes

You can only see the amounts on the Nirvana Upgrade supported indexers after the snapshot.

### Genesis Launch

* [x] The Nirvana Upgrade is scheduled to be executed at block height `#818419` (one block after the snapshot) . Therefore, any deployment, minting, transfer, and other operations prior to the Genesis Launch will be considered invalid.
